Pearl Waffle
Monday, April 15, 2013 | 3:55 AM | 0 comments

It has been a long long time since I last blogged. Oppps! haha

Anyway, I happened to saw this newly open shop named Pearl Waffle on Instagram, and went to try it out out of curiousity. :)

This is how the shop looks from the front.:)

How the waffle looks like :) This display cabinet.

This is the menu!
There is 4 series all together:
- Pearl Waffle Classic Series
- Pearl Waffle Creamy Indulgence Series
- Pearl Waffle Ice Cream Series
- Pearl Waffle Fusion Series

I ordered a set (Banana Creamy + Black milk tea) and Ham & Cheese Fusion.

I prefer the Ham & Cheese fusion. There is a layer of mayonaisse under the cheese. The waffle wasn't crispy nor soft. It was in the middle. The texture wasn't really special, and I felt that the slightly sweetened waffle did not really go well with the salted cheese.

The portion is really small, as in one waffle size is like smaller than your palm? and for this ham & cheese, it cost RM10.90. Not really worth it.

The banana creamy one wasn't really special. The chocolate sauce was quite thick, and for a small portion like this, I couldn't finish it myself, as you would get sick of the taste (腻) after a few mouthful. It cost RM 10.90 if you were to order it on itself.

The picture really makes the food looks way better than it taste. It is on the pricey side, I don't recommend it, and will not make a second trip there. But if you are a curious cat like me, you can try it :)

Penguin Nail-Art Tutorial! :)
Friday, January 25, 2013 | 11:32 AM | 2 comments
Hello!

Doing manicure outside too often it's too pricey for a student like me :(

So I have decided to paint my nails myself!

Today's tutorial will be a step-by-step tutorial for penguin nails. :) It's super simple yo! ^^

Firstly, a picture of my mini nail  art kit :D You don't need so many colours btw :) All you need is base coat, white, red, yellow, black, silver and top coat :)

Okay, after painting based coat, paint your nails with base colour like this! :)

Silver for the nails you want your penguin on and alternate red and white on the other nails :)

Don't worry if you make a mess by painting out of line, we can clean it up later! :)

Next, dot your nails with a dotting tool, or a used pen that have no more ink if you don't have dotting tools! :)

Alternate the dots, like 3 in a row, den 4 in a row, then 3 in a row...

For the red based nails, dot with white colour; for the white based nails, dot with red colour.

For the penguins, your can either use the smallest tip dotting tool, a ulter small paint brush you can get from book stores or even eye-liner brush! :)

Using black, create a small mountain on the silver-based nails.

Wait for it to dry, then use white to draw a small m slightly below the top of the black mountain, and fill up the bottom with white, leaving a black boarder.

Dot the eyes with black and yellow for the mouth and you are done! If you want it to look cuter, just add a hat or a ribbon or anything! It should look something like this!

Last but not least, add top coat! yay! Clean the side using nail polish remover and cotton bud and you are done! :DD

Express handmade Christmas Card Tutorial
Thursday, December 13, 2012 | 11:36 AM | 0 comments

Hohoho! Christmas is coming! Thinking of making a handmade greeting card for a special one? Here's a tutorial for an express Christmas card! :)

Firstly, google for ginger bread man and print out the template. Like this :)

Next, cut it out!

Trace the shape on a brown coloured paper and cut it put. You can cut as many as you want to!

Cut a base card that is slightly larger than the ginger bread man. You can use a white card/ glittery card. Any type you like. Here I'm using a light brown cupboard that can be found from the a foolscap pad. :) Recycle yeahhh! LoL

Now it's time to decorate your ginger bread man! You can use ideas from google!
For mine, I'm letting it wear a hat since its christmas! :)

And then some buttons!

Bow tie! HEHE

Now it's time for the wording. You can print it, write it yourself or anything. Here, I'm using sticker :)

And.. Paste everything together! And also, cut the round edge. :) You can use the thicker double sided tape (not sure what it is called) for the elevated feel :)

Time to add some glitter and stars! Woohooo! Put it some where to dry.

Tadahhh! We are done! Simple and fast!

You can punch a hold on top and tie a ribbon to make it a gift tag, or you can just write you greetings at the back!

Try it now and show some love to your loved ones! The extra effort to hand make a greeting card makes it more valuable! Let's go do some craft work now!

Tadahhhhh!

Movie Synopsis
Walt Disney Animation Studios and Emmy®-winning director Rich Moore (TV’s “The Simpsons,” “Futurama”) take moviegoers on a hilarious, arcade-game-hopping journey in “Wreck-It Ralph.” Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly, “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby,” “Step Brothers”) is tired of being overshadowed by Fix-It Felix (voice of Jack McBrayer, “30 Rock”), the “good guy” star of their game who always gets to save the day. But after decades doing the same thing and seeing all the glory go to Felix, Ralph decides he’s tired of playing the role of a bad guy.  He takes matters into his own massive hands and sets off on a game-hopping journey across the arcade through every generation of video games to prove he’s got what it takes to be a hero.
On his quest, he meets the tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Jane Lynch, TV’s “Glee”) from the first-person action game Hero’s Duty. But it’s the feisty misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman, “The Sarah Silverman Program”) from the candy-coated cart racing game, Sugar Rush, whose world is threatened when Ralph accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens the entire arcade.  Will Ralph realize his dream and save the day before it’s too late? “Wreck-It Ralph” crashes onto the big screen on December 20, 2012, in Disney Digital 3D™ in select theaters.
